Do they have noise cancelling? Minus Plus

Our Sleepbuds® feature passive noise cancellation to block out snoring and other disruptions. In addition, we offer “noise masking” audio content (think, white noise, ocean waves, babbling brook, etc) to cover up and replace any sounds that bleed through the passive seal of the comfortable silicone tips. This “block and replace” noise-masking technology is different from active noise cancellation, and our testing indicates that it’s more effective for the sleep use case in a bedroom environment.

Can I stream anything? Minus Plus

Yes. Ozlo Sleepbuds® can stream anything (Netflix, Spotify, Audible, Youtube, etc) that a normal bluetooth headphone can.

Do they have an alarm? Minus Plus

Yes, Sleepbuds® have a built-in private alarm which can be set up through the Ozlo app. The alarm doesn’t require the phone to be connected, and still works even in bluetooth disabled mode.

Is there a phone-free mode? Minus Plus

While a phone and an active bluetooth connection are necessary to initially set up and to stream audio, your Sleepbuds® can be configured to automatically play your built-in Sleep Sound as soon as you take them out of the case. No phone or bluetooth connection required.

What is the wireless range? Minus Plus

Ozlo Sleepbuds® have a range of up to 10ft (3 meters) from the Smart Case. The Smart Case has a range of up to 10ft (3 meters) from the source device (like a phone). This range may be reduced by physical obstructions, such as walls and doors, or by interference from other electronic devices. 

Does the Ozlo app work on Android and Apple Devices? Minus Plus

Yes, the app will be available for Android phones running Android 12 or later and Apple iPhones & iPads running iOS 17 or later.

    Good but not great

    The best thing about Ozlo Sleepbuds is comfort. They don’t protrude outside the ear so they can be worn while sleeping. They do play sleeping noises, but they absolutely need to incorporate noise canceling to be truly helpful on a plane. I don’t need help falling asleep at home.

    Post warranty obsolesce

    I really loved these when they worked! The are super comfortable and have been a great asset for me to get a better night's sleep. I was an early adopter purchasing through Indiegogo in April 24, receiving them in July. From the start, the earbuds have been a bit glitchy in connecting and charging the right or the left bud. I had expected some bugs as they worked through the early launch. Initially their help desk was very responsive to requests with quick follow-up. After 15 months of use, the earbuds now will not pair with my iphone. I tried every prompt, resetting to factory settings, the usual drill that I have become accustomed to walking through. When that failed, I reached out to customer service. They provided two additional options. Neither of these worked. Support as now fallen silent. I've now returned to my trusty Airpod Pros. If you expect a $300 device to last more than 15 mins, I would recommend that you consider another option.

    Superb noise cancelling and comfort …

    Like others I was very disappointed that Bose had stopped manufacturing their equivalent of Sleepbuds but delighted Ozlo was a viable alternative. I am delighted with them especially as our teenage daughter has worked out how I can play podcasts to fall asleep to which then switches to white noise sounds which cancels out my husband’s frequent and noisy snoring! They are fabulous! The only downside is that our daughter wants a pair now so she can sleep better - she has Autism and ADHD and sleep is a frequent challenge for her as her mind is constantly processing thoughts. Given their cost, she’s going to have to wait until Christmas but I think she’ll be OK with that.

    Terrible support/customer service

    Think twice before purchasing and if you do, pay attention to the 30 day return window. I was able to use the buds once and they seemed promising. However after one use they stopped working and the case kept draining battery even though the buds weren’t in use. Support was so slow to respond and I had to send follow up emails each time to get a response. Eventually they agreed the unit was defective and offered a replacement. However, due to their slow response times my 30 day return period was about to expire. I couldn’t be sure I wanted to keep them since they only worked for one night. Support refused to extend the return period based on shipping the replacement unit. Their only suggestion was to return my pair and place a new order. That’s an absolutely ridiculous response given that they sent me a defective unit. They also wasted two weeks of my 30 day return period because it took two days each time to get a response from support each time their suggested fixes didn’t work. I can’t recommend and won’t be buying a new unit to replace the defective one.
